Overall, I like the direction that the OS X GUI is going with Leopard - more subdued and neutral, less distractingly shiny and blue. However, some of the more blatant remaining Aqua elements really annoy me - mainly, the scroll bars and progress bars. So I got rid of them. I call the mod “Evaporation.”
This modifies system files, the usual warnings apply. You will need Admin access, and it changes the elements for all users on the computer. When you extract the image, it will probably warn you that the image is damaged - this is normal. I’m not sure why it does this (anyone smarter than me know?), but I’ve tested it, and it still works fine.
