Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard introduced a new 3D look of the Dock, when it’s on the bottom of the screen and a darker flat look when it’s on the left or right side.
With Dockscrew you can change the look of the Dock to the darker flat look, even when the Dock is on the bottom.

DockColor provides a simple interface to changing the color of the Mac OS X Leopard “shelf” Dock. With a simple color-picker interface, you can change the color of your Dock quickly and easily. DockColor automatically backs up the original files, and you can easily revert back to the original Dock from within DockColor as well.
That said, DockColor does change basic System files. By downloading and using DockColor, you agree that Elgebar Studios or its owner cannot be held responsible for any negative results caused by editing these files. DockColor is not designed maliciously, but accidents do happen.
DockColor requires OS X 10.5 “Leopard”. DockColor is a universal binary for use on Intel and PowerPC machines.

Dock Library is an application that takes the headache out of managing styles for your Leopard dock.
Download styles from sites such as LeopardDocks.com or LeopardDocks.net. Once downloaded, there’s no need to expand or unpack the file, just click “Add Dock” to add it to Dock Library.
When you have some styles in your library, you’re a simple click away from changing the look of your dock. No hunting through hidden system directories, just select the dock you want and click “Set Dock”.

Docker… Tired of your dock? Spice things up a little with Docker. Access dock settings from a simple interface, and Leopard users can customise the style and color of their dock too!
Docker allows Leopard users to switch between 2D or 3D dock, or customize the Dock further by individually changing the color of and style of Dock parts. If you are feeling creative, you can easily select your own images, or a vast array of styles from the ever growing LeopardDocks.com
Docker also lets users of OS X 10.2 to 10.5 access settings normally hidden out of sight. Choose from a larger range of dock sizes, extra animation options and more.
