Full credits to Laurent Baumann for the original pngs from coversutra.
2 versions: 3d (like the preview) and normal (without the white line on the top)
I’m pretty sure it works on vlc 0.8.6e but if u have problems using it let me know (a friend of mine can’t make it work properly, so if u can’t let me know and I’ll try to figure it out why)

A lot of ideas and mockups comes out form vlc “new” interface thread a lot of people actively “work” at it, the results was great and after Dustin’s quicktime player mod i’ve decided to mod vlc itself
This is my(ours) videolan.app working mod model
This mod is tested only for english and VLC 0.8.6e! I don’t know if it works with others languages
MainMenu.nib goes in vlc.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj
all the others goes in vlc.app/Contents/Resources

A hud mod for CandyBar 3’s icon info window. My first mod in Interface Builder, not bad for about an hour’s work. My only gripes are the disclosure triangles and the combo box at the bottom, but I think it turned out well. Instructions are included in the download (it’s very easy to install). Enjoy!

I was hating Twitterific’s custom HUD window, so I thought I’d make a quick mod to make it more like Leopard’s system-wide HUD. @Those of you who think it is too transparent *ahem Niclas*, it looks a bit better if you disable transparency in Twitterific’s prefs. This mod also gets rid of the annoying Yellow “Twitterific” at the top of the window.
To install, just drop it into English.lproj inside Twitterific’s resources. This mod is for leopard only.

Overall, I like the direction that the OS X GUI is going with Leopard - more subdued and neutral, less distractingly shiny and blue. However, some of the more blatant remaining Aqua elements really annoy me - mainly, the scroll bars and progress bars. So I got rid of them. I call the mod “Evaporation.”
This modifies system files, the usual warnings apply. You will need Admin access, and it changes the elements for all users on the computer. When you extract the image, it will probably warn you that the image is damaged - this is normal. I’m not sure why it does this (anyone smarter than me know?), but I’ve tested it, and it still works fine.
